Profile

Luis Wiedmann is an ELLIS PhD student at EML Munich, supervised by Zeynep Akata and Cordelia Schmid. He holds an M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from TUM, with exchange stays at the University of California San Diego and the École Polytechnique (Paris). During his studies he interned at several institutions, e.g. the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Hugging Face. He is broadly interested in representation learning, world modeling, continual learning and robotics.
