Rishika Bhagwatkar is an incoming PhD student in the Explainable Machine Learning group led by Prof. Zeynep Akata. She is broadly interested in multimodal learning, robustness and reliable AI. She is pursuing her research master’s at Mila and Université de Montréal under the supervision of Prof. Irina Rish. During her studies, she spent time at ServiceNow Research, EPFL (NLP and Theory of Machine Learning labs), working on topics spanning visual commonsense reasoning, multimodal robustness and LLM agent security. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), India.
